We had a great studio day at the art station in Fernie yesterday. We enjoyed working in the large space upstairs. Thanks those who dropped by:)
We wish we could have seen the letter press at the claw hammer more closely, unfortunately they were closed for a break:( Next time we are in fernie we will check it out!

Camped under the howling wind, mildy afraid of falling trees, but made it through the night:)

Our OXYGEN ART CENTRE date was quite productive we really enjoyed the space. They are hosting their second annual art market this Friday Saturday and Sunday so if you are in Nelson check it out! here is a link to their web page http://www.oxygenartcentre.org/

Hello we have been away from our Blog lately but not away from making lots of cool books! 

Our Castlegar date at the Kootenay Gallery was lots of fun with the ambience created by the amazing student artwork surrounding us! Tomorrow In Salmo! Circa 1980 (crappy) photo copy machine in tow. Bring source material! We will be doing hard bound covers with simple pamphlet style inserts.

Call for Submissions!

Speaking Volumes is now accepting submissions for their upcoming exhibit at the VISAC Gallery in Trail this fall. The exhibit is about everything books! Submit your handmade books, altered books, sculptural books, pamphlets, zines and pages to Speaking Volumes and have your work exhibited! 

The exhibit opens October 19^th 2012. Deadline for submissions is September 15^th 2012.
